Perfume or oil ? Prune oil, the silent revolution

Prune kernel oil has hints of bitter almond oil and marzipan and is used in a variety of recipes. At first , the strength and sophistication of its perfume is a real surprise : A few drops will turn salad dressing , sea food and even sauce into real gourmet food . Not surprising that it caught the attention of so many cook chefs in France.
